Fighting to the
Death
The hunger games are about to start already. I start but thinking
in my head, what will happen to me or the other people I’m with in the hunger
games like Peeta. Then I hear the countdown starting from 60 and with 5 seconds
left 5,4,3,2,1 the hunger games has started people running to get food and
weapons for the all of the games. From the start to the finish. The book called
The Hunger Games, By Suzanne Collins, is a action adventure book
filled with fighting to the death between the 12 districts. What may happen in
the hunger games though? or maybe will this happen in the future to us. It is
hard to live in the districts to because you have to enter into the hunger
games every year and there are really poor people that live there.
In the being of the hunger games many things you have to do. One of the main activities is training. You have to do things for cross bowing and much more. After all our training you have to get their uniforms and food for the games because they are limited to what they get for food and water for the games but if they find places to get water or food they can take it. Like in the book Katniss finds a pond to get water from. More things they have are interviews. They have many of them before the games people can see what they are like or what they think may happen.
But what happens during the hunger games? In the beginning of the hunger games there is a count down from 60 seconds and then they run to get weapons and then they hide so they don't die. Then the fighting starts. When the fight is going on they people have to listen a cannon because that means that someone got killed. More thing they have to do is stay safe from other people because there are 24 people in the hunger games so they can most likely come behind someone and kill them so you have to hide and be safe. Other things are is they need to find water and food. What ends up happening to Katniss is she finds a rabbit and follows it to a pond to get water and she ends up staying there for a while.
Will the hunger games happen in the future? If there were the hunger games in real life what would it be like the same as the book or different than the book? I think it would be different because in our country we don’t kill people and we don’t have a rich area and 12 different places around it for the poor people.
It is hard to live in the districts. the hunger games are hard to be in if you are in it and most of the families are poor there. That's why in the book everything was hard for Katniss because first her sister gets picked for the hunger games so she has to volunteer for her so she doesn’t get killed then, she has to be in the hunger that’s hard for a poor family to be through probably. That is what happens I the book the hunger games.
